Why do we sit in a sukkah?
היציאה מהבית הקבוע לדירה ארעית מזכירה לנו שהביטחון האמיתי הוא באמונה 🌿To remember that G-d sheltered the Jewish people in sukkot after the Exodus and protected them in the desert. Leaving our permanent home for a temporary one reminds us where true security comes from 🌿
And if it rains?
Someone uncomfortable due to rain is exempt. For a practical halachic ruling, our halacha hotline is available 📞
